Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association is a non-profit charity that has provided therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with all forms of disabilities since 1983. We are most grateful for the financial assistance we receive from the Province of British Columbia. Nevertheless to ensure excellence in our programs, fundraising is an ongoing priority.

VTEA is now to be found in a new and improved facility. Lessons are ongoing and we have some of the best Instructors and Volunteers that therapeutic riding has to offer.

Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by improving their physical, mental, and emotional well being with the help of our wonderful horses.

The Annual Christmas Open House held on Sunday, December 20th was highly successful. Over a hundred visitors attended. One of the highlights was a presentation of a cheque for $9,500 to VTEA by the BC Hot Rod Association who turned out for the event. This had been raised in a BCHRA Auction on December 1.

We are sorry to hear that Langley Good Times Cruise-In will be taking a hiatus in 2010. VTEA is extremely grateful for the strong support they have given us over the years.
