Your help is important to us.  Pennies for Ponies Program We ask everyone to bring in all your pennies. It all goes to the care and up keep of the horses. Every penny counts!! VTEA Horses Assisting with our program are a very special group of trained therapeutic riding horses. These horses are sensitive to their riders and try to make adjustments to ensure a comfortable ride, whatever difficulties the rider may be having. It is very stressing so each horse will only do a maximum of two lessons per day.
Given the challenges, horses will normally spend a few years with us and will then move on to take a well-earned retirement. The current list of horses as of December 2010 is as follows:
