Pennies for Ponies Program

We ask everyone to bring in all your pennies. It all goes to the care and up keep of the horses.

Every penny counts!!

Welcome !

VTEA is a non-profit charity that provides therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with all forms of challenges. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our riders by improving their physical, mental, and emotional well being with the help of our wonderful horses. The poem, I Can!, by John A Davies sums up what our special children gain through our programs. The volunteers who assist our riders find a great deal of satisfaction in seeing the outstanding benefits that therapeutic riding brings.

VTEA is located in a new and improved facility on 256th Street in Aldergrove just south of the Fraser Highway. Lessons are ongoing and we have some of the best Instructors and Volunteers that therapeutic riding has to offer.

We have been operating since 1983 and are most grateful for the financial assistance we receive from the Province of British Columbia. Nevertheless to ensure excellence in our programs, fundraising is an ongoing priority.

Why not join us and get involved. You can support this very worthwhile charity in whatever way works for you. Join the Association as a member, become a volunteer or make a donation. For a rapid introduction, view a VTEA slideshow.
